On Monday 11th May we did a lunch-time show for the Learning and Skills Council area team in Brighton. We were very pleased with the turn-out as people were giving up their lunch-breaks to watch it. Here’s a comment we received back.
“Thanks so much for coming in yesterday and giving us a presentation on the Magic Lantern. I am so pleased it went well and you had an appreciative audience for it – I know all the comments from everyone were that they really enjoyed it. I found it so interesting and loved the pictures of the (West) pier and the station at night.”
I attended this show and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great way to spend a Monday lunchtime! You put on an excellent show which brought the history of Brighton to life, particularly as it was through the eyes of the victorian magic lantern.
Thanks for all the work you put in to do this especially for us at the LSC.
Other comments received from LSC staff included these:
“Brilliant, I would like to find out more about the Magic lantern Society”
“Excellent, very enjoyable”
“Very informative”.
