Our show at Hollycombe

Over May Bank holiday we performed several shows at the Hollycombe Steam Collection. We love it there as we  get to perform in an original Bioscope ( a wooden theatre that would have been transported round the country showing early films and magic lantern slides).

We had full houses pretty much all day; it gives us a buzz to see kids cracked up laughing at the same stories and pictures that their great- great- great’s would have enjoyed over 1oo years ago.

  1. Great blog site. We love going to Hollycombe and enjoying all the fun of an old time fair as a family. The magic lantern show is real fun, kids can see that what entertained their great grandparents is still fun today.

  2. We saw your show at Hollycombe – was v good. Hope to see another one soon. What other shows do you do?

    • Glad you enjoyed the magic lantern show. We enjoy putting on shows for anyone who asks us really! We do shows in museums, for festivals and historic events as well as folk club bookings. Just email us charlotte@musicfinders or phone us on 07835 313513 to discuss your ideas.
